Who we are
About Atlanta Tile Contractor
A small crew, a clear focus
Atlanta Tile Contractor works in a defined territory: Westside, Midtown Atlanta, and the Marietta Street Artery. That is a deliberate choice. Staying within a compact geography means we know the housing stock, the building management contacts, and the access quirks that come with urban work.
Our small crew takes on the jobs we can manage well. We do not subcontract the work out or scale up with temporary labor for a busy season. The same people who give you an estimate are the ones setting tile on your floor.
How we think about the work
Tile fails for two reasons: poor substrate preparation and wrong material selection. We spend more time on the first part than most contractors do, because fixing a failed installation is far more disruptive than getting it right the first time.
Before any tile goes down, we check for deflection in the subfloor, test for moisture in concrete slabs, and confirm that existing surfaces are clean and mechanically sound. In wet areas, we apply a waterproof membrane as standard practice, not as an upsell.
Material selection matters too. The tile that looks right in a showroom may not be appropriate for a floor with radiant heat, or a shower that gets used twice a day. We help clients understand the practical difference between options before they commit.
The neighborhoods we serve
Westside Atlanta brings a mix of historic bungalows, new infill construction, and adaptive reuse projects. Midtown Atlanta means condos, townhomes, and mid-rise buildings with their own set of logistics. The Marietta Street Artery corridor includes commercial spaces, live-work units, and renovation projects where timelines are tight.
We have worked in all of these contexts. That range is useful when a project does not fit a standard category.
We assess what is underneath before anything goes on top.
No subcontracting. The people you meet are the people doing the work.
We work only in Westside, Midtown, and the Marietta Street Artery.
